Recent widower, writer George Schneider, is encouraged by his younger brother Leo to start dating again. Which sends George into even more depression after a series of bad matches. Then Leo comes up with Jennie Malone and she’s a keeper. Still, it’s a bumpy trip on the road to Dreamland for these not-so-young lovers.
Shop fresh local produce, farm fresh eggs, breads, jams, jellies, local honey and Texas Hill Country arts & crafts at the historic Herff Farm at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne. Enjoy free live music, gardening classes, cooking demonstrations and children’s craft activities, too.
Go hog wild at the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce Annual Wild Game Dinner at the Kendall County Youth Agriculture and Equestrian Center. This will be the sixth year of the popular fund-raising event. Admission includes savory wild game dishes, live & silent auctions and registration for door prizes.
Weekly rodeos, live music, events & steak dinners. Check the website for specifics on this weekend’s agenda.
General admission for Saturday night rodeos is as follows: $12 for adults and $6 for children 6-12 years of age, 5 and under free.
