Oktoberfest is the largest annual VW show hosted by VOSA and this year the organization is turning 25! In celebration of the big “25” there will be more class awards and more trophies! Look for more VdUBS, more vendors, more swappers, more food choices and more fun for all!

General admission for Saturday night rodeos is as follows: $12 for adults and $6 for children 6-12 years of age, 5 and under free.

Celebrate Arts and Humanities month by joining the Patrick Heath Public Library for Boerne’s Book & Arts Fest. There will be live music, live art demos, live readings from the authors, food, creative activities and art/literature for sale.

Market Days moves across Main Street to the Kendall County Court House and the streets come alive with great shopping in an outdoor setting.

The Damn Quails: The Damn Quails are a musical group that thrive on the spontaneity of live performance and the ethereal connection between players that happens on stage. Their performances are a living, ever-changing experience that captivates crowds of all ages from all walks of life.

Dr. Ferdinand Ludwig von Herff and his family are well known historical figures in the Texas Hill Country.

A 3 day rally for Can Am Spyder riders (3 wheeled motorcycles) featuring multiple daily rides on the scenic back roads of the Texas Hill Country, evening meet and greets and Spyder education and demo rides.

HCCArts, in conjunction with Majestic Ranch Arts Foundation and the Boerne Public Library Foundation, is excited to present a new concert series: Arts at the Amphitheater! The Amphitheater at the Patrick Heath Public Library is an outdoor venue so wear comfortable clothes and bring lawn chairs or blankets for lawn seating. Parking is available in the lot in front of the library building.

Join Boerne Animal Care Services and Hill Country Animal League on Saturday, October 21 at Boerne’s Main Plaza for their 5th Annual Texas-style chili cook off. Along with the cook off there will be an adoption event and the mutt strut.  Food trucks, Agility, Bouncy House, Live Music & More!

125+ CanAm Spyders will be having a Patriotic Ride honoring our Road Warriors and the Road Warrior Foundation. The Road Warrior Foundation matches wounded veterans with specially-modified CanAm Spyders for rides. This year the Annual Ride leaves Austin TX on Sunday October 22; the destination is Charleston SC a week later.

Los Lonely Boys: From AUSTIN, Texas. Lots of musicians compare their careers to roller-coaster rides, but Los Lonely Boys have had so many close-your-eyes-and-hang-on moments in the 14 years since they recorded their self-titled debut, they should buy an amusement park.

Grab a beer and enjoy an evening of owls. Craig Hensley, TPWD’s “Wizard of Wildlife” will give a brief presentation about the fascinating anatomy, diets and lives of owls. After the presentation head out on an “owl prowl.” Beer provided by Dodging Duck Brewhaus.

Come celebrate fall and the harvest season at the historic Herff Farm. Kiddos will love painting pumpkins, finding their way through a hay bale maze, bobbing for apples, making fall crafts, and playing carnival games.

ANTIQUE TRACTOR PULL by Tri-County Antique Tractor Pullers Assn. at the Ag Heritage Museum in Boerne. Approximately 40 tractors, all built before 1960 will be featured in the event.
