Participating children, families and other visitors to the Kendall County Junior Livestock Show feel the excitement in the air that comes with competition. But there is so much more than simply winning that comes from the event. Raising livestock is a fabulous teaching experience that brings families together and develops lifelong friendships. Kids learn not only the mechanics but also the underlying sense of responsibility and what it takes to get a job well done.
