Your San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Guide
The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is easily one of San Antonio's top events, attracting over 2 million people each year. This year's event will be February 9th through the 26th. The entire 21 days are full of fun activities. The main attraction is the rodeo, which features amazing animals and athletes. There are so many things to do and enjoy at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo fairgrounds. Go cheer on some pigs at the Swifty Swine Pig Races or get up close and personal with some animals at the Great American Petting Zoo. Kids can ride some beautiful Welsh Ponies at the Great American Pony Rides.

Food
There are lots of food options located throughout the Fairgrounds. Grab some delicious fajitas at Van De Walle Fajita Corral. There will also be a food court with lots of booths serving up more traditional Texas fair foods. Adults can grab some alcaholic beverages at the Champion Wine Garden and Craft Beer Tap Room
Live Music
Five different spots at the fairgrounds will be providing live music throughout the entirety of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. The live music will range from small, acoustic sets to lively full bands, so music lovers can find what they enjoy!
Horse Show
The Horse Show is free with fairgrounds admission and features multiple competitions as well as an auction over the entire length of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Some of the competitions you can see are team roping, breakaway roping, NCHA cutting, Quarter Horse Show, Paint Horse Show, Horse Skillathon, Barrel Racing, and more!
Livestock Show
The Livestock Show will be running the entire length of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Kids will be showing everything from pigs to dairy cattle. Exhibitors whose animals are judged as the top in their classes are eligible to sell their projects through a live auction. Money bid on the animal project is paid to the exhibitor so that they may continue their show experiences and educational endeavors.
